Todrick Hall, former American Idol contest and current YouTube sensation, has created his own renditon of the classic musical. However, as you'll witness in the eight-minute clip above, it's not a conventional adaptation. For one, Shangela play's Cinderoncé "Fairy Dragmother," who's notably known as a contestant from RuPaul's Drag Race.
Then there's the soundtrack, which features a number of songs from Beyoncé's outstanding catalog, including "Freakum Dress," "Diva," "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" and "Love on Top." Whether this musical ever hits broadway is besides the point; the fact that it simply exists is amazing enough.
