You can add Zedd as the latest EDM producer to get the Hollywood call. It must have sounded a bit like this. In any case, Zedd recently tweeted about having scored a "key scene" in the forthcoming film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (which hits theaters on August 21). We're not sure how much involvement there was - did he get to see the scene and base the song on it, or was he given emotions and told to construct something? Whatever the case may be, we've got a quick (less than one minute) snippet of "Into the Lair," a track that Republic says is from the official The Mortal Instruments soundtrack (which Hollywood Crush confirmed).
