Face Mob and Roc-A-Fella connected many times, most famously on Scarface's 2002 single "Guess Who's Back" and a series of introspective Jay-Z and Beanie Sigel album cuts. But it all started with Face's slept on 2000 album Last of a Dying Breed, where Jay shows up for tightly composed 3-minute track about moving weight. Jigga and Scarface go back and forth, taking turns every couple bars, as partners in crime dealing with less than ideal circumstances. At one point, entertainingly, Scarface lands in New York and gets impatient waiting for a ride from Jay-Z, who interjects "Goddamn traffic is getting on my nerves, I see Face by the curb," while the beat drops for a moment before they get back on track. —Al Shipley
