Bass. It comes in all shapes and sizes these days. NYC-based Curses, Drop The Lime's alter-ego, delivers his bass in house form. Linking up with Marble Music, Curses recorded this two-track EP in Paris and these are the results. A-side "So Good" is a hypnotizing, melodic, bouncy house track with a simple but effective bass stabs complimented by an 80's new wave airiness. B-side on the other side is an uptempo acid techno romp with heavily processed sounds and similarities to Boys Noize and Skrillex's side-project, Dog Blood. Curses makes overall, more dancefloor-oriented tracks than Drop The Lime, and while we love DTL, we're hoping we don't have to wait another four years for the next release.
