Fresh off the heals of contributing to Kanye West's album, Yeezus, experimental producer Arca releases his new project, &&&&&.
Calling it a mixtape is a bit of a stretch, as 14 tracks blur together with a frenzied stream of consciousness. At 25 minutes in length, his music runs the gamut of emotions, and the transitions are flawlessly executed.
Arca handled additional production on "Hold My Liquor," "I'm in It," "Blood on the Leaves," and "Send It Up" for Yeezus, and there are distinct moments in &&&&& that parallel those records.
