Solange has cancelled a string of European tour dates in the month of August to concentrate on what she's described as, "mental/physical health stability."

According to Pukkelpop, a Belgium music festival that was included on her list of cancelled performances, Solange explained that she is currently focused on family and her new album, which has left her no choice but to take a sabbatical from touring.

Solange will miss eight shows in total, including performances in Sweden, Denmark, and England. Read her words below:

"I wish I could put in words how much of a difficult decision this was...but between moving part time to a new city, starting my son in a new school, and writing/recording my new record...I really had to make the best decision for my mental/physical health and provide some stability for my family."
