Oh, nostalgia. I was 10-years-old when Mighty Morphin Power Rangers took the world by storm. Kids in my neighborhood would stop playing outside and run home at 3:30 to catch this incredibly popular show. Though politically incorrect in every way possible (the black power ranger wore the black costume and the asian girl wore the yellow costume), it was designed to target my demographic, and did so with incredible success. The plot of five teenagers with super powers destroying evil was a simple and effective one.

This era of Pogs and snap bracelets and, well, Power Rangers is long gone, but it feels good when someone effectively brings me back to my childhood. SAYMYNAME! caught our attention last fall with his EDC Las Vegas submission for his song "Pew Pew Pew" and continues to wow us with his production. A playful flip mixed with a no-nonsense low-end turns a sample from an anthemic show into a club-ready tune.
