While Nile Rodgers had to correct the publications that were reporting a possible Daft Punk performance at his "Nile Rodgers Dance Party" show on August 19 in Riverhead, New York, the blog post they referred to did drop a great jewel:
There's going to be me, my band CHIC, and some of the hottest acts and surprises on the planet that day... which happens to be around the time the next Daft Punk single drops (I'm just saying).
This is the first we've heard of any kind of next single coming from the androids in the near future. We've already seen them release "Get Lucky" and its remix, but the question is now: What direction does Daft Punk go into? Will it be a "Lose Yourself to Dance," or something a bit different?
