It seems like Atmosphere haven’t been so prolific of late, though their last album, The Family Sign, did come out in the not-so-faraway April of 2011. No matter the timeline, the arrival of new single “Bob Seger” comes as a pleasant surprise. Echoes of New York classicism can be heard from Minnesota’s very own here, and Slug flows slow and steady throughout. It’s like they never left, even if they did.

“Bob Seger,” for now, anyway, is available only on Spotify. Head there for it, provided you have an account.
