This doesn't look good for either rapper.

Rappers being admonished for their questionable lyrics is not a new concept, especially in 2013. Rick Ross and Lil Wayne were both dropped from lucrative endorsement deals after spitting some offensive rhymes, while Kanye West came under fire for his line, "A monster about to come alive again/Soon as I pull up and park the Benz/We get this bitch shaking like Parkinson's," on "On Sight" off Yeezus.

The latest artists targeted are J. Cole and Drake, with the former rapper's lyrics on "Jodeci Freestyle" generating a petition from the Anti-Bullying Alliance. In it, they ask for a formal apology from each rapper, as well as the lyric ("I’m artistic, you niggas is autistic, retarded") be removed from the song.

The petition has already received over 2,600 viral signatures since being created on July 13, with the goal of 5,000 signatures in sight. "It's time we recognised [sic] people with autism for the exceptional human beings that they are and make a stand," autism activist Anna Kennedy writes.

There's moral grounds for the petiton, though an outcome favorable to their cause isn't guaranteed. With that said, where were they when Mack Maine gave us this relic on "Every Girl"?
