Nobody does real talk like Reggie Ossé a.k.a. Combat Jack. The former rap industry attorney, media executive, author, and Internet radio talk-show personality now hosts The Combat Jack Show, where hip-hop's biggest names are put on the front line. The questions will be tough—and shots will be fired. Co-hosted by Dallas Penn, Premium Pete, and Just Blaze, The Combat Jack Show appears every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday on Complex TV.

In the final installment of our three part interview with Gunplay on The Combat Jack Show, Gunplay breaks down his writing process, which he says comes from being passionate. "Shit is just rough, but you got a dope ass beat. And you play the beat and you just get in a vibe. Next thing you know, you writing."

Gunplay also goes into his spirituality as an individual. "There's forces in this earth, in nature and shit. When they say karma and all that shit, 'What goes around comes around,' it's real," Gunplay asserts. "I found peace in myself." Simplifying life to the descriptive concept, "Craw, fall, ball," he explains that life is about balance.

Gunplay rounds out the conversation on a light note, revealing that he took Maybach Music head honcho Rick Ross fishing back in the day. "God bless the dead, P-Nut, and me and Ross, we used to be fishing in the backyard in the canal," he says. "Ross would throw it out there one time, and he ain't going to catch nothing. He's like, 'Man, let me buy one of them shits.'"

Gunplay's new mixtape, Acquitted, is available now. The MMG rapper is also currently planning his "Acquitted World Tour," alongside Masspike Miles and Triple C's, with dates to be announced soon.
