Normally, we like to kick the morning off with something a bit lighter, maybe a tad deeper... we're starting July off in a ratchet manner, but with this Dallas crew, we felt we had to. DJ Sober and PICNICTYME's sound is somewhere in the middle of Dallas boogie, New Orleans bounce, and Baltimore club (with just a dash of trap)... it's a proper regional dancefloor gumbo, and "Buss It" is a great example of how quickly they interweave those sounds. Word is that they're working on an EP to drop in September that samples local Dallas rappers, with "Buss It" flipping lines from Lil Will. It's infectious, it screams "FOURTH OF JULY SUMMER, TRICK!," and is something we're going to be rewinding for the better part of the day.
