Big Boi Reveals His Musical Inspiration For Complex TV's "Jambalaya"

The Atlanta rapper gives insight to his musical creativity in this clip, with accompanying footage from his Jambalaya performance.

In between shows at Jambalaya, presented by Complex TV and produced by ScoreMore, veteran rapper Big Boi touched on where he draws inspiration for his music.

With over two decades of experience and a catalog that includes classics with his group OutKast as well as his own solo work, the Atlanta rapper says his musical muse is a universal concept. "I draw my inspiration from life. Living life in general, and about things that's going on in the world."

Always in entertain mode, Big Boi also made his bid for a pretigious seat down the road. "I answer all questions with impunity. I'm straight forward," declared Big Boi. "And one day, I might be the President of your United States of America. Ronald Reagen did it."

As an added bonus, check out the visuals below for Big Boi's latest single, "The Thickets," off of his acclaimed sophomore album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.
