Nobody does real talk like Reggie Ossé a.k.a. Combat Jack. The former rap industry attorney, media executive, author, and Internet radio talk-show personality now hosts The Combat Jack Show, where hip-hop's biggest names are put on the front line. The questions will be tough—and shots will be fired. Co-hosted by Dallas Penn, Premium Pete, and Just Blaze, The Combat Jack Show appears every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday on Complex TV.

In part two of our three part interview with Wale on The Combat Jack Show, Folarin talks about how he got down with Rick Ross and MMG. The DMV rapper talks about how Fat Trel wanted to meet Ross so Wale introduced him, but all the while Ross was watching the way Wale moved and was impressed by the way he carried himself. Wale points out how record labels don't bother to check if there's a response to an artist on the streets, but Ross and MMG do which is why Ross wanted Wale on the team. He also takes time out to call Interscope "headphone university."

Wale tells a particularly memorable story about the moment he knew MMG would work out. He had fallen asleep on a couch after recording "Play Your Part" and woke up to see Ross coming back with shopping bags and realizing that it was the vibe he always wanted. Afterward, he explains why there's no competition within MMG.
