Cole wraps up the Simba series (for now, at least) with this third, and perhaps best, installment. Over a dramatic sample of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Runaway," he goes for a full four minutes, his energy rising with every bar. When this dropped, he'd already been waiting for two years to drop his much-delayed debut, and you can hear the stress and anger in his voice. But with the last couplet in particular, he uses it as fuel (and subtly shouts out the Roc): "I only made classics, now what that take? Timing/Cole under pressure, what that make? Diamonds."
