As dance music becomes continues to ingrain itself in American culture, more and more Americans are looking for something more substantial than confetti and cheesy vocals. What does this mean? Well it means hot hubs like Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird label are getting hotter and we're going to make sure you know what's really good. Along with big bird Claude, Justin Martin and Eats Everything have become some of the most talked about names on the current wave of bass-infused house music.

Justin Martin & Eats Everything have finally gotten together for their first official collaboration and next Monday they'll be releasing "The GettUp" via dirtybird. Not quite deep house, not quite tech house, not quite booty bass (a term I just can't take seriously anyway), they are part of a burgeoning "bass-first" house scene that has hipsters and house heads a like getting down and grooving. The track is a good example of what's been popping out of the birdhouse and would fit nicely in a mix alongside what SubSoul is pushing out through their channel or even Jacques Greene's latest LuckyMe release. Get up and groove to this or sit back and let it wash over you. Either way, you won't soon forget it.
