Most of the dance music festivals that occur in the U.S. cater to more of the "hands-in-the-air" stuff that Europeans would chuckle and say "oh, EDM" to. Aside from Detroit's Movement, and a handful of smaller spots, the representation of the "real," "true" sides of dance music don't get their due, but praise Rave God for Seattle's Decibel Festival, which is celebrating its 10th year with "over 100 performers representing over 20 countries" in 10 premier venues in Seattle's Capitol Hill from September 25-29.

As you can see by the above lineup, a number of DAD favorites are on deck during the four-day festival, including Jimmy Edgar, Machinedrum, Ryan Hemsworth, Kode9, DJ Rashad, JETS, and XXYYXX, with acts like The Orb, John Tejada, Lapalux, and many more. Hit up for more details on this splendid event, and be ready for the final phase of their lineup, which gets announced on August 6.
