First Week Sales for Kanye West, Mac Miller, and J. Cole Are In

June 18 will go down as one of hip-hop's holy days.

First week sales for Kanye West's Yeezus, J. Cole's Born Sinner, and Mac Miller's Watching Movies With The Sound Off are in. Kanye West came out on top, while J. Cole sold close to 300k in the first week.  

Official numbers are in:

  • Kanye West's Yeezus: 327,000 (Third-largest sales week of the year behind JT's 20/20 Experience, and Daft Punk's Random Access Memories)
  • J. Cole's Born Sinner: 297,000 (Largest debut at No. 2 since Dec. 11, 2010)
  • Mac Miller's Watching Movies With the Sound Off102,000

Kanye West's fifth solo album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, sold 496,000 copies in its first week. Whereas, J. Cole's debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story sold 217,825 copies in its first week, and Mac Miller's debut album Blue Slide Park sold 144,000 copies.
