While it's been nearly 17 years since 2Pac has passed, the rapper's legacy has lived on through the power of his music. That theme will continue on Broadway, where portions of his catalog will be used for the musical, Holler If Ya Hear Me.

Directed by Kenny Leon (A Raisin in the Sun, Fences), the musical is based around the original story of two inner-city childhood friends struggling within a Midwestern town. Choregraphy will be handled by Tony Award-winning Wayne Cilento, with musical supervision from Daryl Waters.

There's no set date at this time for Holler If Ya Hear Me, but it is expected to debut during the 2013-14 season.
