Bodega Bamz: “The birth of my son was when I really started to take music seriously. I was becoming better [as I got] accustomed to it. I saw my team was better after the whole Tanboys movement was formulated. [After the birth of my son] I knew that this was crunch time. I knew that this was bottom of the ninth, two outs to go, bases loaded. I knew that this was the time for me to start to have something accumulating, because I want him to grow up with things that I never had growing up.
“Another deciding factor was that there were a lot of people out there hating, not believing, not giving me the right opportunities. I came into this motherfucker with a chip on my shoulder because I knew how good I was and I knew that the world was eventually going to know the same thing.”
