Where's the best place to record a cover of David Bowie's "Space Oddity?" In space! That seems like an obvious choice, but today marks the first time it has ever been done. This isn't just for "Space Oddity," but for any type of music video ever.

Chris Hadfield, Commander of the International Space Station, uploaded the first space-recorded video onto his YouTube after spending a year in space recording music. It will also be his last video since he'll be returning back to Earth on Tuesday.

The videoin all its floating guitar and orbiting goodnessis available for viewing above.
