David Heartbreak is a Brooklyn (by way of Charlotte, North Carolina) producer that's done remixes that have been signed by top EDM labels like OWSLA, SMOG, Mad Decent/The Jeffrees, as well as putting out a number of his own remixes and solo projects independently. He recently signed with Skrillex's OWSLA label, and is releasing his first EP for OWSLA, The Foundation, on May 14.

"Raindrops" features Skylar Grey and The Partysquad, who was featured on Major Lazer's Free the Universe as well as their single "Original Don." "Raindrops" is one of the few "songs" that's on The Foundation, and blends trap with a pretty solid vocal. The Foundation is one of David's most eclectic projects, not just focused on one style of sound of dance music, although there is a reggae tinge throughout the project.
