You can't help but grab attention with a name like The White Mandingos, and that's exactly what this group has been doing during the first half of 2013. Consisting of Murs, Sacha Jenkins and Bad Brains bassist Darryl Jenifer, the group plans to release their album, The Ghetto's Tryna Kill Me, on June 11. "Warn A Brotha," which breaks down the game behind the music industry game, should further endear them to listeners.
Murs offers some comical insight (his comment about the phenomenon of the black rock band is hilarious) and "Warn A Brotha" is just so wonderfully punk.
