Every once in awhile, the world needs some brand new music from Cam'Ron. Not one to disappoint, Cam dropped a track today titled "Golden Friends." It is an appropriate title, as the Harlem native used a sample from Cynthia Fee's "Thank You For Being A Friend," a song that eventually became the theme song for the classic NBC sitcom The Golden Girls. Far from corny, Cam takes the beat and glides effortlessly over it, paying homage to those who were instrumental in aiding him in his career.
