Kriss Kross' Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly Found Dead

Just a couple of months after the Kriss Kross reunion.

Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly (right) has passed away at the age of 34.

Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly has passed away at the age of 34 today. The tragic event comes just months after performing with fellow Kriss Kross member Chris "Daddy Mac" Smith at the So So Def Reunion Show.

Authorities have confirmed his death, reporting that he passed around 5 p.m. today at the Atlanta Medical Center. The cause of death is unknown at this point and the autopsy has yet to be completed.

Kriss Kross is best known for the 1992 hit single "Jump" from their debut album Totally Krossed Out, and for their legendary backwards-clothing style.

UPDATE: According to CBS Atlanta, a spokeswoman from the Fulton County Police Department said that unless other information has yet to be revealed, Chris Kelly appeared to have suffered from a drug overdose, which led to his death. An autopsy is set to be performed Thursday. CBS Atlanta is currently investigating the further details of Kelly's death.
