Lil Wayne's controversial lyric referencing Emmett Till on Future's "Karate Chop" track was pulled and censored by Epic Records immediately after his version leaked.
The controversial lyric led to a lot of troubles for Wayne, Future and everyone involved with the song. The main question that many asked was "How did everyone that heard this think the lyric was okay?"
Vibe interviewed Metro Boomin, who produced "Karate Chop," and asked the same question. He says that version was never intended to come out.
