There are no concrete pieces of evidence or any official statements to this rumor, but a handful of DJs and fans are sending out "RIP" tweets and condolences for Romanthony, a producer who was most popularly known as the voice behind Daft Punk's "One More Time" (and "Too Long" from their second album, Discovery.

Romanthony was well-loved in the music community, with his music taking him from the garage and house scenes in New Jersey to Europe. He released four albums in his time, as well as a number of stellar singles, with Dim Mak most recently releasing his single "The Wanderer" with Kevin McKay. 5Magazine is reporting that vocalist Daone Remmidy (aka Eve Angel) left the following message on Facebook on May 12, but for some reason it just made the rounds today:

UPDATE Romanthony's sister Mellony has confirmed that he passed away on May 7. Spin is reporting that he died from complications due to kidney disease, and was 45-years-old. There is no word as of right now regarding cause of death, but he passed away in his home in Austin, TX. Our condolences go out to any family, friends, and collaborators who knew Romanthony. Word was Boys Noize was working on new material with him. Rest in peace.
