First-Week Sales Projections for Daft Punk's "Random Access Memories"

Surprised?

None

According to Billboard, Daft Punk's Random Access Memories is set to sell around 300,000 copies in its first week, putting it comfortably at number one on the charts. To put this in perspective, Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience moved 968,000 copies its first week, making it the only larger debut than Daft Punk this year, if the predictions come true. Daft Punk has sold 125,000 copies of its last release Human After All to date, so clearly something different is going on this time, or maybe the populace has just had enough time to get excited about the duo again.
