In a video interview with the Associated Press, will.i.am explained his position regarding the ongoing controversy with "Let's Go," a song which takes from "Rebound" by EDM producers Arty & Mat Zo. After initially telling Kiss FM that he hopes to "resolve the issue" with the two, will is now saying that he had already credited Arty, and that he had no idea that Mat Zo was involved in "Rebound."

According to will, he received an e-mail from Arty after reaching out to him, and the producer had been excited to find out that will was using the duo's song for his track off #willpower. After he had taken care of crediting the track on the creative side, it was up to the legal team to handle the rest. "Legal tends to take so long," will said.

So far, there has not been a response from Arty, Mat Zo, or the duo's label Anjunabeats regarding will's comments. This will likely not be the last time this situation makes headlines.
