It's music festival season, and today marks the first day of the two-weekend 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival. With everyone from Wu-Tang Clan to Red Hot Chili Peppers to Pusha T and Earl Sweatshirt taking the stage, this year's line-up is stacked.

There's no better way to anticipate this year's festival than to look at the years past, where acts like Rage Against The Machine reunited on stage or where The Cure played after curfew, even without their speakers on.

Coachella Music Festival has been around since 1999 and plenty of legendary performances and moments have gone down. Here are the 20 most outrageous of the bunch.
