The tension between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey on American Idol isn't really a secret, but one thing that probably hasn't cross your mind is their silent battle on the Billboard charts. Now, Minaj has a little more ammo against Carey. After "High School" debuted at No. 83, Nicki tied her co-judge for most Billboard hits with 44. The both share seventh place among female artists.
However, Carey still has 18No. 1s and 27 Top 10s. Nicki has nine Top 10 songs, but has yet to have a No. 1 hit on the Hot 100.
