It's been a fairly quiet year for new hip-hop talent so far. As usual, in the first few months of the year, not much happens, but then things start to really heat up as the weather gets warmer. Chance's project is hitting at the perfect time, because he just might become one of this year's breakout stars.
But don't take our word for it:

One thing is for sure: he's got the talent. His #10Day mixtape was locally-acclaimed in Chicago. At the time, he offered the strongest proof that young Chicago hip-hop was a lot more than a bunch of Chief Keef copycats. We first posted about Chance back in February of 2012, but even we weren't ready for how big he would become.
