In Comedian Cleo Rocos latest book, The Power of Positive Drinking, she details a night out with TV star Kenny Everett, Queen's Freddie Mercury and a young Princess Diana.

Rocos explains that Mercury disguised Princess Diana as a male model in order to sneak into London's Royal Vauxhall Tavern in the late '80s. She was dressed up in sunglasses and a black hat, as well as an army jacket, so she could remain unrecognizable during the night out.

"When we walked in...we felt she was obviously Princess Diana and would be discovered at any minute. But people just seemed to blank her. She sort of disappeared. But she loved it," Rocos says in her book.

However, the friends left after about 20 minutes.

"She did look like a beautiful young man," Rocos wrote. "She was always a very fit girl, so they might have thought, 'There's a nice young man with pert buttocks.'
