After debuting some new material live at SXSW over the last few days, Vampire Weekend are ready to share some studio material from the upcoming Modern Vampires of the City. The New York quartet just posted two new songs, “Step” and “Diane Young,” each with its own, fairly low-key visuals.

“Step,” which came with the lyric video above, is fairly mellow and not far from the band’s usual wheelhouse. Meanwhile, “Diane Young,” which comes with that footage of a burning car below, brings the boys into heavier and more energetic territory than usual. Listen to those above and below and pick up the new album on May 6 via XL.
