It’s been a few days now since Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’s set on Saturday Night Live and, while the critical reception was a little mixed, the boys still feel mostly positive about the experience. Fuse recently sat down with the Seattle duo for a brief chat about last weekend’s performance. Macklemore and Lewis explain that the gig, which was apparently long in the making, was a “check off the bucket list” kind of experience, albeit nerve-racking.
Macklemore goes on to admit that, “if I could go back and mix Saturday Night Live, I would have turned up my vocals,” to which Lewis added, “I would have turned up Wanz’s vocals so you wouldn’t see lip-syncing headlines… Nothing I can do about that.” Check out the clip above and watch the big performance right here.
