Yesterday, rapper Too Short was arrested for driving under the influence and possessing drugs. In a bizarre twist, he allegedly tried to run from police officers as they administered a breathalyzer. He then tried to get rid of some drugs in the back of a police car.
Too Short is crying foul, according to TMZ. Today, he claims the police are falsely accusing him of hiding drugs in the car.
However, TMZ reports, cops say they found Ecstasy laced with meth in the backseat. Too Short spokesman David Weintraub says Short didn't have drugs on him. "Short was diligently searched and cuffed prior to being placed in the disgustingly filthy patrol car," Weintraub told TMZ. He went on to say that the car was already "littered with remnants" from other arrests.
