If you grew up with an old-school grandma, you know all about plastic slip covers. They covered the chairs and couches so you wouldn't soil that fine furniture with those dirty clothes.

In this Complex premiere, rising Bronx rapper Euro League gets nostalgic on "Grandma's Plastic Covered Couch" which, according to a press release, is a metaphor "used to explain how memories of the past events and people are preserved and never forgotten ... the purpose was to keep the furniture in best shape for as long as possible, which is what Euro is doing with these memories of his childhood."

The song, with its warped sample and ambient moans, pays homage to Detroit producer J Dilla. The video was directed by Matt Schaff.
