Redfoo of LMFAO has announced that he will be entering the playoffs for this year's tennis US Open.

Over the past few months, the raucous chart-topper (and son of music mogul Berry Gordy) has slowly infiltrated the very last sport you would expect him to. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Foo has been dating 27-year-old current World Number Two tennis player (and former Number One), Victoria Azarenka since earlier this year. Foo accompanied Azarenka to the Australian Open earlier this year, undoubtedly offering valuable coaching from the sideline.

Redfoo's road to Flushing will begin on June 18-23, when he will take part in the USTA Northern California Sectional Qualifying Tournament. "It's always been a dream of mine to play professional tennis," he said. The 37-year-old (!) singer/producer of the chart-topping electronic duo is still wearing the same ridiculously fluorescent clothes he wore at the height of the LMFAO craze. Call it a left-field take on Andre Agassi's bold 90's tennis style

Late last year, Redfoo announced that he and bandmate Sky Blu were taking a break from being LMFAO. Speaking to Billboard, however, Redfoo said he was uncertain if he and Sky would reconvene in the future. "I could easily say, 'Okay, sure, in the future we'll come back together.' But really, the most accurate way I can say that is that time will tell," he said.
