The last we heard from Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco, he was thrown off a stage in Washington, D.C. for an anti-Obama protest during inauguration weekend. Then he canceled the release of Food and Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part II.
Perhaps in an attempt to sidestep controversy, Fiasco has released a new single called "Light Blue," produced by DJ SimonSayz. On it, the MC gets all Benjamin Button: "Since a shorty I was 40/And my 40s is like 80s/So by the time I die, I'm gon' be a baaby."
If you say so, Lupe.
