Listen to Black Milk's New Double Single "Sunday's Best / Monday's Worst"

The Detroit producer/emcee double thread is getting ready for a new album this summer.

Detroit has always been a hotbed for hip-hop talent. Amongst the gems that emerge from the Motor City is Black Milk, a producer and emcee who has entertained enthralled on both sides of the proverbial coin. His last solo album, the ambitiously titled Album of the Year, came out in the fall of 2011.

Today, Black put out the first sampling off of his followup LP, currently untitled. The release happens to be a double single, titled "Sunday's Best / Monday's Worst." While both songs certainly thump in vintage Black Milk fashion, "Sunday's Best" is the more uptempo of the two, with "Monday's Worst" serving as the more laid back offering. And if super-producer Just Blaze approves, that is certainly a good sign.

The Detroit artist's upcoming album, which will be his sixth full-length LP, is currently slated to come out this summer.
