Kendrick Lamar's Jay-Z-featuring remix of his good kid, m.A.A.d city standout has become the most hyped remix in recent history since Young Guru dropped it a few days ago during his DJ set at SXSW. Lamar confirmed the hype, taking time out of his SXSW schedule to chat about the remix with MTV. Undoubtedly, the good kid from Compton will feel the heat going up against Jigga on the Sounwave-produced track.

When asked about the remix, Lamar talked about what a big deal it is for him to share a track with one of his idols. "It’s one of them things, you know, you live up to and one of them moments to really challenge yourself and say ‘OK, that’s what I come here for. Always looked up to the greats to be a great.’ So to actually be on a track with him, it’s an accomplishment.”
