Album: Pochette Surprise

Before "Hard Knock Life" or "It's Hard Out There For A Pimp," there was "Dur dur d'être bébé!" ("It's Hard Being A Baby"), the hit single by 4-year-old musical genius Jordy. This soundtrack to the toddler struggle was the ultimate gimmick record of the early '90s house-pop era, hitting number one in France and Spain while crawling up pop charts all across the globe. The Guinness Book still lists Jordy as the youngest musician to ever have a number one record, and until Blue Ivy stops pooping in diapers and starts shitting on MCs, the crown will stay in France. -Brendan Frederick
