If you were in Miami at all for the last 10 days (or paying attention to the Ultra live streams), you will know the serious tuneage on this list. We've only scratched the surface and we know there were "official anthems," but these 10 tunes were inescapable bangers. Big room house, tribal-influenced house, trap music - we learned quite a bit from these anthems. For one, house music will never die. Two, hardstyle and tribal sounds are creeping into the American landscape once again and it won't be long before they've revamped the house scene once again. Three, bass is king. Whether it's with a trap remix, a baltimore club beat, or a trance big room gem, the rumble down under is always going to win big. Main stage, pool side, rave bus or yacht, these tunes were the true anthems for the 2013 edition of Miami Music Week.

Plastik Funk & Tujamo - "WHO"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: David Guetta, Avicii, Dogblood, Major Lazer, Chuckie

Whether it was pop superstar entertainer David Guetta on the mainstage, Skrillex and Alvin Risk dropping it in their B2B set at last Friday's private party at the Red Bull Guest House, or Major Lazer or Chuckie performing on Ultra Music Festival side stages in between, the Plastik Funk & Tujamo house tune "WHO" was heard everywhere. A certified party-starter, this one really has no frills to it. Instead, the track has a relatively simple chord progression characterized by a horn lead and jungle-esque chants (as in the vibe, not the style of music) accenting the pounding beat. The single is the first of a few Plastik Funk & Tujamo collabs and we're actively awaiting the next ones! If you had told me I would have heard this song more in Miami than Zedd's "Clarity," I would have told you that you were insane. But here we are in the aftermath of Miami Music Week and the historic two weekends of the Ultra Music Festival, and "WHO" was the soundtrack of the 10 days.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike - "Wakanda"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack, Clockwork, Sander Van Doorn, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Style of Eye, Carnage, Borgore, David Guetta, Chuckie,

Another Axtone release, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike dominated the Miami sound waves with their tribal infused big room jaunt, "Wakanada." The tsunami-sized stomp was heard everywhere. With a gradual build and elephant stomp sure to pulverize dance floors, "Wakanda" is a fitting tribute to the fictional African nation from which it bares it's name. The Belgian duo had the official anthem for last year's Tomorrowland and we're sure that this track will continue to be a festival-sized banger for the rest of the year.

Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes - "Here We Go"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Fedde Le Grand, Dogblood, Swedish House Mafia, Deniz Koyu, Paul Van Dyk,

Swedish House Mafia, Fedde Le Grand, Dog Blood, Paul Van Dyk, and Deniz Koyu all dropped this driving electro beat at Ultra. As the title implies, "Here We Go" was a go-to party-starter in Miami and we're sure that it wasn't a coincidence that this was heard everywhere. A hard and grinding bassline, the Axtone release came out July of last year. But as we kick off the beginning of yet another festival season, the Russian House Mafia tune was everywhere. Cut this to a Mission Impossible trailer or your pre-game warmup, DJs all over Miami knew this track's raucous power and that's why it was an anthem for this year's MMW.

Carnage & Borgore - "Incredible"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Carnage, Borgore, 12th Planet, Knife Party, Martin Solveig, Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, Porter Robinson, Style of Eye

Dubstep and/or trap this is not. Carnage & Borgore's foray into big room house has proven to be wise as their tune "Incredible" was another one of these inescapable jams. The rather minimal track delivers a pulverizing low-end excellently complementing the menacing chord progressions. It's crazy to think that these two together have made a big room house bomb like this, but we're not complaining at all and after hearing it all over Miami, we're just waiting for the next collab.

Hard Rock Sofa - "Rasputin"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Thomas Gold, Sander Van Doorn, Style Of Eye, Clockwork, Cedric Gervais, Swanky Tunes & Hard Rock Sofa, Knife Party

Anthemic yet sinister, Hard Rock Sofa embodied the nefarious ways of the storied Russian mystic with this big room bomb. The track found it's way into a variety of sets and it will most definitely lead the way as the big room sound moves away from the euphoric chords and towards the down and dirty.

GTA, Digital Lab, and Henrix - "Hit It"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Clockwork, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Martin Solveig, David Guetta, Deniz Koyu, Fedde Le Grand, Style of Eye, Benny Benassi, Major Lazer, 12th Planet, Seven Lions, Swedish House Mafia

With 12 listed DJs dropping this track at Ultra at least once in six days, you could make the argument that this was THE anthem of Miami. The three-way collaboration between GTA, Digital Lab, and Henrix has proven to be a big hit with its rather minimalistic lead. Big room uplifiting chords define the build before hitting with the straight tribal dutch sound reminiscent of "Epic." The track has proven to be a hit and we're definitely going to keep hearing this one.

Showtek - "Slow Down"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Alvaro, Knife Party, Chuckie, David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Laidback Luke, Tommie Sunshine

Hardstyle may not be the biggest sound in the US, but it's still making it's way into the American EDM landscape with Dutch duo Showtek leading the way. After becoming headliners in the hardstyle scene, Showtek has moved towards a big room house sound, co-producing Tiësto's "Maximal Crazy" and then collaborating with Tiësto ("Hell Yeah!"), Hardwell ("How We Do"), Bassjackers ("Hey") and now they've got their own solo banger anthem with "Slow Down". The Dim Mak tune was supported all across Miami during MMW and we're expecting this tune to continue to rattle festivals all summer long. I can't get this melody out of my head...

W&W and Ummet Ozcan - "The Code"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Bingo Players, Clockwork, Deniz Koyu, Style of Eye, Beltek, W&W, Benny Benassi, Hardwell, Seven Lions, Fedde Le Grand,

Ever since the initial teaser, "The Code" has been an anthem just waiting to happen. The track was heard on Hardwell's Essential Mix last November and now we're hearing in it's proper form, at festivals. A mix of trance and electro, "The Code" perfectly blends the two into an infectious concoction sure to be amp up crowds and destroy dancefloors everywhere. The kick drum even has a bit of that hardstyle bounce to it and we expect to keep hearing this one for a while.

Benny Benassi - "Satisfaction (RL Grime Remix)"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Flosstradamus, Borgore, Madeon, Dogblood, Martin Solveig, Seven Lions, Kill The Noise.

No tune rattled the bass bins like this one. It's been out for months and it even made it's way up to #2 on the overall Beatport 100, but even after fading out of the charts, the tune was heard everywhere getting everyone going. While there certainly other tracks with that heavy bass, RL Grime's "Satisfaction" remix had a certain way of rattling you to the core. I've heard this before on good speakers and I've heard this in clubs before, but I don't think there was a track as massive as this the entire week. Main stage, after hours early mornings, poolside afternoons, it was impossible to not hear this infectious remix and we're happy we couldn't avoid it.

Armin Van Buuren and W&W - "D# Fat"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Armin Van Buuren, W&W, Sander Van Doorn, Knife Party, Krewella, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano,

It would seem that almost by default that any big room sound would have to be epic, and to some extent that's true. But take this Armin and W&W collab and we're really starting to harness the power of a peak time main stage massive. Listening to this tune, it's as if Armin himself is taking the the main stage again and all the lights are flashing on and off. This sort of tune can be felt on a visceral level and it's truly a gem. We we're happy to hear this one as much as we did and we're looking forward to hearing it all summer.

Honorable Mention: KW Griff ft. Porkchop - "Bring in the Katz"

Not Available Interstitial

Played By: Dogblood, Skrillex/Alvin Risk, and countless more

No it wasn't heard nearly as much as the others on this list (and you'll see why), but it was heard at countless pool parties and it was a bonafide riot-starter in Dog Blood's set. It's not trap and it's not hip-hop, and it's verifiably nothing like you're hearing on the charts. KW Griff brought the straight up BALTIMORE CLUB to MMW with this one. The beat fires off like a machine gun punctured by Porkchop's upbeat fiery MC delivery as it delivers a punishing blow and rumbling low-end. It's honestly just TOO HOT that we couldn't keep it out of the equation. Whether it was at the Dim Mak pool parties or the Red Bull Guest House, the Katz we're brought in… unfortunately we still don't know who let the dogs out…
