We can preview albums legally without going to the store and sitting at a listening station, which was terribly awkward.
For the really young people in the house: You know how you go on iTunes and preview a small clip of a song before opting to buy it? Well, record stores used to have that, but they were called listening stations. And they were terrible. Look, just because we think Carly Rae Jepsen might be more than just a one-hit wonder and want to peep her album to prove it, doesn't mean we want to stand there bumping "Call Me Maybe" in public. We just want to privately enjoy our guilty pleasures from the comfort of our home without being judged for it. Okay?
