Hip-hop shouldn't be so materialistic. Ever so often, it's refreshing when a young face talks about introspective things. That's what makes this song such a good look. On "Misruled Order," the New York City MC Bishop Nehru and guest Que Hampton make great use of a methodical piano-laced beat. They meditate on growing up in a urban environment and acknowledge the dangers.
Bishop says he draws his inspiration from Tupac's character in Juice (who was also named Bishop). The Nehru in his rhyme name is taken from the prime minister of India, who he says worked closely with Ghandi and never got credit for his work. It's the latest from Nehru's Nehruvia project.
