"Everybody got a story to tell," Bad Boy rapper French Montana says in a new webisode on Jay-Z's Life+Times website. "But with mines, it was just real. I didn't plan for it."
In this video, Montana reflects on his upbringing: his dad was a hustler, and his true family members are the people you see around him, he says. He also details the time he got shot. "So I come out the studio, I'm walking like this," Montana recalls. "All I see is just two n***as, hammers at my head. As soon as everybody started moving in on me, everybody ran, so I'm the only one stuck."
From there, he says he was shot in the back of the head. The video provides a first-hand glimpse into the incident. Watch the full video above.
