With performances at the Super Bowl and Presidential Inauguration under her belt, a world tour on the way and a young child and superstar husband at home, it was only a matter of time until Beyoncé sat down with Oprah. B’s interview on Oprah’s Next Chapter airs tomorrow night, but the network has a few clips to share in the meantime.
In the video above, Queen Bey talks mostly about the relationship between family and career. Of her husband, Jay-Z, she says, “I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man. It gives me such a foundation.” Of her return to the stage just months after giving birth to Blue Ivy, she says, “I had clearly never given birth and didn’t know that I’d gain… 57 pounds… but I really wanted to know.”
