Ever since Drake's "Started From The Bottom" video dropped a few hours ago, everyone's been wondering, "Who is the leading lady?" It's Tassja Dawn, a Toronto-based model/entrepreneur/singer. UPDATED
Dawn was in Drake and Trey Songz's "Replacement Girl" video from 2007. She's been in a few other music videos, including Belly and Snoop Dogg's "Hot Girl."
She also auditioned for MTV's "Coming Up" and was one of 16 finalists in the 2009 MuchMusic VJ Search. Dawn seems to be actively pursuing her own music career. We'll see what she does next.
Update: This morning, we ran the above post stating the Tassja Dawn was the woman in the new Drake video, based off of what we were lead to believe was reliable information. Complex has received word from Tassaja Dawn that she is not, in fact, the woman in the Drake video. We apologize, and regret the error.
