The Dream: Jay-Z's "Swap Meet" Comment is All Good

There were a few MVPs at last night's Grammys: Katy Perry's, er, dress, Justin Timberlake's comeback performance, and J-Lo's leg.

At least in hip-hop circles, Jay-Z might stand above them all.  When he wasn't spitting a 16 with Justin or drinking cognac from the Grammy he won, he provided one of the show's lasting one-liners. After Frank Ocean and The-Dream accepted the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for The Throne's "No Church in the Wild," Jay stepped to the mic. "I'd like to thank the swap meet for his hat," Jay said, poking fun at The-Dream's Boyz In The Hood baseball cap.

It was an instant LOL moment. Though some have questioned whether Jay was joking or not, The-Dream insists it was all in fun. "Of course they're looking in from national TV and they're like, 'Oh my God, I can't believe he did that!' And I'm like, 'No, I can believe he did that,'" Dream told MTV. "What you may not believe is that I have my own digs that I do all the time, so it's all good."

The hat still isn't touching J-Lo's leg, though.
