We've got an interview with Starkey that's forthcoming, and tracks like this are why we figure he's the true future of bass music. His Orbits album was one of the best of 2012, and he's already got an EP lined up for release on SeclusiasisInter-Mission, that's due to drop March 25. Skream & Benga premiered this one on their last BBC Radio 1 show, and it's everything we love from Starkey. His music sounds like what's blaring out of the speakerboxes of the funkiest extra terrestrials this side of the Milky Way. He builds from a space-y intro into a truly disgusting riddim, complete with otherworldly drops and beautiful synths.

They don't make 'em this good that often. Well, Starkey does, but the rest of the scene has lightyears to catch up.
